Anıl Uzun is a travel enthusiast.
These two words come into our minds when we call his name. He lives in Antalya, and what he loves the most is to travel with his loved ones. In short, he loves to make the most out of life. Anıl Uzun started traveling when he was very young. But in 2007, he began to take notes of his trips and created a travel journal. He has been traveling for about 13 years in many kinds of travel forms.
Anıl Uzun was born in 1987. As a child, he was a dreamer, and he wrote stories on traveling. He knew that he was going to be a travel enthusiast, just like his parents. His travel adventures began when Anıl Uzun made trips to many of Turkey during the summer holidays alongside his family. In university, he started to travel more. Before that, during his high school years, Anıl Uzun was a travel club member, and he traveled a lot. From Antalya to İzmir, he saw many places in the Aegean side of Turkey. At the same time, Anıl Uzun visited his relatives in Istanbul and learned what a cultural trip was.
Anıl Uzun’s Education
For higher education, Anıl Uzun decided to study Greek Language and Literature at Istanbul University. Later, he admitted that he admired the Greek Culture and decided to learn the language and literature when he traveled to the Aegean coast. At that time, Anıl Uzun explored Europe with Interrail. He studied many countries in Europe, and he was determined to live his life as a traveler. He traveled alone, with his girlfriend and his other friends.
As he got to know people and he grew knowing his self more, he chose to travel with his friends and started to travel alone rarely. In time, he had many friends that are ready to travel with him and share his experiences. They started touring in Europe, India, South America, Russia, and Pacific Asia. Anıl Uzun read a lot to create routes for himself. He followed travel blogs and read a lot of books written by many explorers. Then, Anıl Uzun started writing.
In India, he had seen incineration rituals, been into wine cellars in Porto, seen a performance in Brooklyn, and prayed in a church in Vatikan. Anıl Uzun wanted to write all of these, wanted to record his experiences. He started a blog. On his blog, Anıl Uzun says, traveling is a passion that can only be controlled by exploring.
Up until now, Anıl Uzun has been to the Chinese Wall, Taj Mahal, Amsterdam, Cancun, Ipanema, Northern countries, and more. He creates routes for himself and shares the routes with others on his blog and social media accounts. Anıl Uzun plans to visit 20 countries in one year and creates travel routes that include two countries per month.

Anıl Uzun started his adventure with a backpack and has visited more than 60 countries since 2011. He plans affordable and accessible travel itineraries for himself and others, shares his experiences with his loved ones and his followers on the internet.
